OK just a reminder that tomorrow is the long awaited debut of Joe Caseys run(Im sure you dont need reminding)Though I still have a feeling Kurt wont comeback until an issue or two I cant wait!I wont be able to get it until Thursday though...I hope theres still some left!
OK secondly who else has been reading "X-Men Forever?"I think BAMF! is.Anyways there was reference about Kurt that Astra made in the series about Magneto having her spy on him at the Circus. You think they are going to involve Magneto in Kurts origin like they did in "Evolution" or just simply that Magneto had Kurt in mind to join the Brotherhood? But why him out of all the future X-Men?Maybe because Magneto knew Kurts appearance made him more vulnerable.Needing protection.A place to belong.I think this might be as far as Astras connection with Kurt goes-she was sipmly sent to spy on him.
I dont know if this has been talked about already sinse Ive been gone but Im still interested in what people think.

Already?! I thought it wasn't going to start until... it is May. Hmm. Well... I think there might be a few places in town that didn't quit ordering comics in the last year. I used to be able to get Unlimited at 3 different places dammit. And now? Where the heck is it?! Uncanny... *wanders off mumbling*
... *pauses* Some dad! I'd prefer if his parents were just some ordinary people and Mystique and Magneto found him and decided to play around a bit... Bad enough that they (maybe) did something to him at all!

No Nightcrawler in tomorrow's ish of Uncanny...pretty much just Jean, Cyke, Wolvie and Angel.
X-Men Forever #6 is worth picking up if you've been keeping up with the series. And for those wondering why Toad and Mystique were looking more like their movie counterparts than their usual comic selves a few months back...the explanation is here!
I think Magneto had an eye on Kurt mainly because of location. Magneto hailed from that region...at that point there were many theories on what caused mutants, including environment. I seriously doubt any familial ties, either in "true" or Evolution continuity. Consequently, I agree with the assessment that Astra's connection to Kurt was solely based on her spying on him throughout his pre-X-Men life.
Sabretooth is only under consideration as a father to Nightcrawler due to Raven's offhanded comment about the trouble it took to find someone with fur in their genes in the AOA X-Calibre. Kurt would have been already born in the both the AoA world and the "real" world since he's in his mid to late 20's. But it could just be sarcasm on her part. And the whole "Mystique is his dad" thing just opens up a huge can of worms (like, she would have to be a guy in the first place, unless her mutation would allow her genes to change chromosomes from XX to XY, yadda yadda yadda bio stuff). A neat idea, but would require a large amount of work, even in the comics world.
OK, that's enough babble from me...

*laughs at Drags* Lack of sleep must take away from your ability to count, too.
Haven't been reading X-Men Forever. Haven't seen it anywhere.
When Mystique changed into Sabretooth in AoA, didn't she say something to Kurt like, "Aren't you happy to see your father, boy?" Haven't read it for a while but I think that was right.
